On Thursday 4 May 18 Year 10 students helped at the Derby City Liberation Day.
This is an event organised by the Derbyshire Constabulary to provide information for the elderly people of Derby, as well as provide refreshments and entertainment throughout the day.
The students provided invaluable support to the stall holders and the elderly people, serving refreshments, helping to organise the entertainment and an impromptu keep fit display to encourage the elderly people to exercise.
All the students thoroughly enjoyed the day although they had never worked so hard!!
